This means that a MAKA project does not need to stop at the wall.

MAISON TÓUKKANI — Switzerland / Morocco

​

MAKA’s bespoke design language can extend beyond walls and architectural surfaces into one-of-a-kind handcrafted rugs.

Through our collaboration with MAISON TÓUKKANI, a Swiss-based luxury rug house working with skilled artisans in Morocco, selected MAKA artwork can be translated into exceptional made-to-measure rugs created specifically for the interior.

Rather than selecting a rug from an existing collection, we can develop the design as part of the overall MAKA vision — considering the architecture, furniture, colour palette, proportions and artwork within the space.

A mural can inspire a complementary rug. A pattern can move from wall to floor. Or we can create an entirely original rug design as a statement piece in its own right.

Each project can be individually developed in terms of design, dimensions, colours, materials and composition, creating a piece that belongs specifically to its environment.
